Trip Audio Recording is an optional safety feature in the RideBreeze Driver app and is switched off by default. When a driver turns it on and grants microphone access, audio is recorded only during an active trip — from the moment the trip starts until it ends or is cancelled — for safety and dispute resolution. Passengers are advised that trips may be audio-recorded for safety. Recordings are transmitted securely, stored with access restricted to authorised personnel, and automatically deleted after 30 days unless retained in connection with a reported safety incident or as required by law. A driver can disable the feature at any time in the app settings.
